Dao Shui Keng Rou Gui has a rich, spicy flavor with notes of cinnamon, roasted nuts, and a hint of fruit. Its aroma is strong and complex, featuring floral and woody undertones with a lingering sweet finish.
Recommended brewing method
To brew Dao Shui Keng Rou Gui in Gongfu style, heat water to 95-100°C (203-212°F) and warm your gaiwan. Use single serving size of tea for a 100 ml gaiwan. Rinse the leaves briefly, then steep for 10-15 seconds for the first infusion. Pour into small cups. Increase steeping time by 5-10 seconds for each subsequent infusion, enjoying multiple infusions. This method highlights the tea's rich, spicy, and floral notes, with a smooth, lingering finish.
