Product Detail

Description

Medium-grade tea among the 7s Art Feng Ya Song Tea Collection. It was freshly harvested from the natural reserve of Wuyi Mountain - Tongmu Village, at an altitude of 800 to 1000 meters, where the original wild small-leaf tea bushes grow. It is a representative of high-end black tea in Fujian and has now become one of the most expensive varieties of black tea in China, ideal for gift giving.

The brew is bright reddish in color, fruity and flowery in flavor with a long-lasting sweet after-taste. The tea is very resistant to brewing. It can be brewed 12 times and the taste remains full and sweet.

*Note: In order to better help tea lovers find the tea that suits them, 7s Art has launched a tea product grade system. Tea product name = grade name + tea name, such as Feng Jun = medium-grade Jin Jun Mei. According to the three levels of medium, high and top, they are corresponding to Feng (风), Ya (雅) and Song (颂) respectively.

Flavor & Aroma

Jin Jun Mei has a rich, complex flavor with notes of honey, fruit, and a slight smokiness, complemented by a smooth, sweet aftertaste. Its aroma is floral and fruity with hints of caramel and malt.

Recommended brewing method

Use a 120ml gaiwan/teapot for the single serving size of Jin Jun Mei (0.21oz). Rinse the tea before the first brew and immediately drain the water - this will help to clean the tea leaves from dust and particles and fully uncover the flavor and aroma of the drink. Steep the tea for 10 seconds with hot water above 203°F (95℃). Add about 5 seconds to every subsequent brew depending on how strong you would like the tea to be. The tea can be brewed 12 times.

Storage method

Protect tea leaves from exposure to air, heat, light, and moisture
