This weeks Friday Night Tea gathering will be hosted by Roy Lamberty. Roy Lamberty is a native New Yorker who’s 30 year career as a chef has trained his palate to appreciate the subtle nuances of the many different tea varietals. His passion for drinking tea is equaled only by his passion for spreading tea culture. Roy is the founder of the New York Tea Society meetup group whose mission is to spread tea culture throughout New York City via social events and educational classes. In attempting to fulfill their mission, NYTS has become one of the most active tea clubs in New York City. They have been noticed by New York Times, as well as by many popular tea bloggers, including Talking Tea with Ken Cohen.
